Sport Horse Training, Breeding and Marketing operation based in the Waikato,  New Zealand and soon also to expand to the Gold Coast. Australia. 

Royston Equine is the joint venture of Sport Horse enthusiasts, Bennet Conn and Tracy Smith. At Royston Equine we seek to provide a holistic service for the breeding, training, marketing and sale of the highest quality performance horses in Australasia.  It is our belief that the young horses hold the future and with this in mind we aim to develop young talent in healthy and unspoilt dressage, show jumpers and eventing  horses.  We also have on offer many established performance horses in Australasia and Europe ready for international competition for those of you who would like to shorten the long journey to Grand Prix.  

Bennet’s expertise stems from years of riding with the best dressage riders and coaches in Germany. He himself has produced many horses to FEI and several of his young horses have been highly successful at national young horse shows and several of the horses he has produced or sold have gone on to win Australian Grand Prix Championships and to compete for Australia in CDI’s and more recently a World Championship.  He has also sourced many top international eventing horses that have gone on to win or highly place in international competition. Over the past Fifteen years he has been in constant contact with breeders in Australia, Germany, Holland and New Zealand and has amassed a depth of knowledge on what is available throughout these countries.

Tracy’s experience stems from producing jumping and dressage horses for several years in New Zealand. She herself has been highly competitive at national level in the FEI ranks and has recently  produced the New Zealand National 5 YR Old reserve champion, who was highly praised by top international judges. Tracy has a thorough knowledge of the New Zealand sport horse industry and a keen interest in seeing the standard of horse available in New Zealand improve in the foreseeable future.
